Holiday Barn Pet Resorts - Marketing and Promotions Assistant

What do we do at Holiday Barn Pet Resorts? We get the opportunity, every day, to care for, play with, and be an integral part of the lives of thousands of Richmond's pets and their families. We also offer fun, energized playgroups for dogs to enjoy through our Doggie Day Care. Our Pet Grooming department is "paw-excellence" as we provide pets nice sudsy baths, pedicures, stylish haircuts, and anti-shedding treatments. Dogs who need some new manners or are looking to get a higher education can receive the professional training services of our personal pet trainers. Equally important, all Pack members at Holiday Barn work together for a common set of company values and mission of "Creating Joy in the lives of pets and their families."

Marketing and Promotions Assistant Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute promotional and/or branding materials to our resort locations
• Assemble gift baskets for non-profits and community partnerships
• Support and attend internal and external community events
• Maintain inventory for all supplies needed for above responsibilities
• Additional tasks as defined by Marketing and Promotions Manager

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant experience in a similar role, preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Flexibility: Hours and days vary; occasional weekend and evening availability is a must 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Experience working with Microsoft applications or equivalent
• Ability to stand for long periods of time indoors and outdoors in varying types of weather

The Marketing and Promotions Assistant is based at our administrative office at 10173 Chamberlayne Rd but will also work on-site at a variety of venues.
