About the Department

EMBRACE ALL LATINO VOICES is seeking a motivated marketing intern to support their mission of empowering communities in the Carolinas through outreach, advocacy, and educational programs. This position offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, community-centered nonprofit setting. While bilingual fluency (preferably in Portuguese, Spanish, or French) is highly desirable, it is not mandatory. 

Position Duties

· Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to promote EMBRACE’s programs, events, and initiatives.

· Develop engaging content for social media platforms, email newsletters, and website updates.

· Support the design of marketing materials (flyers, brochures, social media graphics) using tools like Canva.

· Collaborate with program directors to craft messaging tailored to the needs of diverse Latino communities.

· Help plan and promote community events, workshops, and educational sessions.

· Monitor and analyze social media engagement, providing insights for strategy optimization.

· Engage with community members to understand their needs and how EMBRACE can better serve them.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Eligibility for Federal Work-Study Program and financial need

  • Current enrollment of 6 credit hours or more in an approved program at Central Piedmont Community College

  • Satisfactory academic standing by maintaining a 2.0 GPA or higher

  • Satisfactory telephone and customer service skills
