Job Title: Quality & Training Technician

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Focuses on ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards, as well as developing, delivering, and ensuring comprehension of training content within a manufacturing environment.

 

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties as assigned) 

  • Conduct regular quality assessments on materials, in-process, and finished goods. 
  • Support equipment calibration and product testing. 
  • Facilitate new hire and on-the-job training using established materials. 
  • Assist in the development of SOPs, job aids, and training documents. 
  • Communicate findings to supervisors and escalate issues as needed. 
  • Participate in 5S, safety, and continuous improvement activities. 
  • Maintain inspection and training records accurately. 

 

Education & Experience 

  • 1–2 years of quality or production experience preferred. 
  • Basic knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001 preferred). 
  • Experience with inspection tools and measuring equipment. 
  • High school diploma or GED required. 

 

Skills & Abilities 

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, preferred. 
  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required. 
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills. 
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements. 
  • Proven strong interpersonal and consultative skills, with the ability to collaborate and develop strong partnerships across functional areas and organizational levels. 
  • Strong writing and record-keeping abilities. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
