Responsibilities & Duties

  • Monitor and evaluate the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery processes to identify areas of improvement

  • Develop, implement, and maintain thorough quality assurance programs, policies, and procedures

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, doctors, and administrators, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

  • Conduct comprehensive audits on medical records, patient charts, and healthcare documentation to assess accuracy and adherence to protocols

  • Analyze data and compile reports on quality indicators, trends, and performance metrics to identify potential areas for enhancement

  • Assist in the investigation of complaints, incidents, and adverse events, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions

  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on quality improvement processes and methodologies

  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and committees focused on quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, research, and advancements in quality assurance practices to promote continuous improvement
