About the Role:

As a Quality Engineer, you will support the quality systems, continuous improvement, and growth of the organization by sustaining and improving the current system and documentation. You will be responsible for ensuring that the voice of the customer is considered and incorporated into all quality decisions while meeting cost and schedule requirements. 

This position is on-site at our Coon Rapids location. The pay scale for this role is $75,000-$90,000 annually.

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Facilitate and present corrective actions using 8D methodology to ensure effective resolution and communication across the organization and customers.
  • Support product development by maintaining control plans and quality documentation, facilitating APQP activities, and preparing and submitting required customer documents including PPAP.
  • Coordinate and complete QA audits while tracking and reporting audit metrics.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer complaints by communicating directly with customers, delivering root cause and corrective action analysis, and coordinating containment activities.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives by facilitating projects, promoting DMAIC principles, and delivering quality-related training to internal teams.
      • Ensure accuracy of quality metrics by reviewing, maintaining, reporting, and analyzing data to support company goals.
      • Coordinate and execute testing, ensure data integrity and clear reporting of results, and leverage insights to drive continuous improvement.
      • Communicate quality expectations to suppliers, review and approve corrective actions, and coordinate testing and inspections to ensure supplier quality.

        Job Requirements:

        • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or Certified Quality Engineer Certification
        • 3+ years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
        • Requires knowledge of industry standards and quality assurance best practices including statistical control, ISO standards, auditing, and documentation control.
        • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills required with the ability to communicate across various levels of the organization and customers.
        • Able to use computer systems software including Microsoft Office, ERP, and SPC software.
