We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Property Management team with the Capital Development Branch.  Reporting to the Senior Building Program Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for the management of capital maintenance, renovation, and expansion projects at Yukon Government facilities. This entails management through the following project phases: Initiation, Assessment, Design, Implementation, Warranty and Close-out. Key tasks include refining scope, identifying required resources, building communication plans procuring the services of consultants and contractors, and providing oversight through implementation. At all project phases, the Project Manager is responsible for managing scope, schedule and budget, and for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and client departments.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in Procurement, Contract Management and/or Project Management.
  • Experience in construction, ideally in commercial construction or management of major building maintenance projects.
  • A degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Building Science and/or Construction Management.
  • Professional certifications such as a Red Seal in a Skilled Trade, PMP certification, or a designation in Architecture or Engineering are considered an asset.



Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
