Position Purpose

As our Insights Analyst, you will support business strategies through data analysis, translating complex data into insights and actionable recommendations. You will partner with internal stakeholders, manage quantitative and qualitative studies, and leverage advanced analytical techniques to support strategic decision-making across the organization.


What You’ll Do & How You’ll Make a Difference

• Partner with stakeholders to define business problems and analytics needs
• Plan and execute complex analyses across marketing, ecommerce, media, and merchandising
• Gather, cleanse, transform, and validate data from multiple sources
• Apply statistical models and causal inference to identify trends and predict performance
• Translate analysis into actionable business recommendations

• Present insights and recommendations to leadership to support strategy development
• Serve as a thought partner in solving business challenges with data
• Enhance tools and processes to drive automation and efficiency
• Automate analysis templates, reporting, and data workflows
• Develop dashboards and reporting focused on key performance metrics

• Create, maintain, and validate standard and ad hoc reporting requests
• Support data collection and communication with external research partners


Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or related field
• Three (3+) years of experience in data analysis or equivalent combination


Required Knowledge

• Data mining, data cleansing, and statistical modeling methodologies
• Database management systems and experience working with large datasets
• SQL, R, and Python (statistical coding languages)


Skills & Abilities

• Strong statistical modeling and data mining capability
• Advanced SQL skills and experience querying large datasets
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, concise insights
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to develop actionable, data-driven recommendations
• Ability to support planning and execution of marketing initiatives
• Strong project management, organization, and time management skills
• Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving ability
• Ability to present results and recommend solutions effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and analytics tools
• Commitment to a culture of respect, inclusion, and collaboration

• Frequent keyboarding and fine motor movement


Work Environment

Work is performed in a normal business office environment in West Sacramento, CA.
