POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Range Manager is responsible for the overall performance and operating results for a designated growing range (i.e., South Dakota, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, or Missouri). The Range Manager always keeps Dan and Jerry’s business interests in mind and makes decisions aligned to the company’s strategic and financial operating plans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (comprehensive, but not limited to):
· Lead the range through full cycle of greenhouse operations, seeding to shipping.
· Responsible for team of 30+ employees.
· Collaboratively with CEO and management team, prepare an annual strategic plan ensuring alignment with overall company growth and financial objectives.
· Lead and manage your team, providing clarity in goals & expectations that produce quality results.
· Lead by example, whereas a culture of safety and operational excellence is visibly and measurably evident.
· Be intentional with employee training to drive improved operational efficiencies and range profitability.
· Drive strategic improvements that are aligned with company vision and financial objectives.
· Consistently deliver measurable results on strategic goals to enable top and bottom-line company growth.
· Evaluate performance of personnel in accordance with established procedures.
· Ensure that all work performed is of a manner and quality consistent with the policies of the company.
· Lead, develop, and motivate your team to promote a culture of high performance.
· Maintains a strict level of confidentiality concerning Dan and Jerry’s strategic, operational, and financial positions.
· Perform all other duties as directed by the CEO.
