POSITION SUMMARY

The Quote Writer Coordinator will manage and review Special Option Requests made by dealers. They will determine and adjust prices according within Quote Writer specs. This position will work with vendors to ensure accurate pricing to meet Rosenbauer objectives. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.  

 

  1. Manages and reviews Special Option Requests made by dealers.
  2. Determines and adjusts prices according within Quote Writer specs.
  3. Receives quotes from vendors for parts requested by customers to fit their needs.
  4. Prepares and updates spec book prints to streamline Pre-Sale process.
  5. Maintains and updates pricing and content to align with vendor pricing and company objectives 
  6. Structures and optimizes Bills of Materials (BoMs) to align with downstream manufacturing, procurement, and production processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and cross-functional workflow continuity.
  7. Maintains strong cross-functional coordination with key stakeholders to ensure content, layout, and documentation are aligned with operational requirements, customer expectations, and production standards.
  8. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.
