Job Summary



The receptionist at Clever Care Health Plan serves as the first point of contact, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for visitors, members, and staff. Key responsibilities include managing front desk operations, answering calls, coordinating appointments, and handling mail. A positive attitude and collaborative mindset are essential to support Clever Care’s values of respect and teamwork.



Functions & Job Responsibilities




  • Answering questions and providing relevant information to visitors, customers, and employees

  • Greets clients and visitors; determine the purpose of each person’s visit and directs the visitor to the appropriate personnel while maintaining the visitors log.

  • Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and distributes items.

  • Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.

  • Maintain a clear communication line between departments and external contacts.

  • Keeping track of office supplies and placing orders

  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference rooms for staff, which may include ordering refreshments and/or lunch.

  • Support event coordination by helping set up corporate functions.

  • Keep the reception area neat and organized to reflect a professional environment.

  • Assist with incoming calls from the company’s main telephone system. Ability to take and relay messages.

  • General administrative and clerical support from the different departments of the organization.

  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude to support Clever Care’s values and workplace culture.

  • Other duties as assigned
