Job Description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Receptionist to join our Ada Senior Center team located at the Ada Senior Center working .

Summary:

The receptionist is responsible for managing elders, visitors, telephone messages and calls in professional and efficient manner. Responsible for assisting elders and visitors in smooth, efficient and friendly manner. Adheres to all protocols in line with Chickasaw Nation’s mission.

Responsibilities:

* Greets persons entering the building and directs individuals to correct destination
* Answers the phone, transfers call, takes messages and screens calls per guidelines for areas served
* Performs general duties including typing, filing, data entry, phone, and office reception as needed
* Distributes supplies, resources and maintains inventory
* Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
- Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
- Maintains and promotes professionalism
- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
* Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
* Greets elders/persons entering the center and directs individuals to correct destination.

* Answers telephone, directs calls, taking and relaying messages.

* Provides correct information to callers.

* Maintains an accurate and complete sign-in sheet for elders’ meals

* Assists manager in maintaining correct/updated data for each participant at center.

* When manager is out, receptionist will be responsible for making announcements and providing guidance to elders regarding activities, center, etc.
* Deals with queries or requests from the elders and/or guests.

* Maintains elders’ confidence.

* Maintains a favorable working relationship with all tribal employees.

* Maintains safe and clean reception area.

* Contributes to team effort

* Pleasant, polite manner and a neat, clean appearance.

* Completes job responsibilities and performance objectives in a timely and effective manner and in accordance with divisional and tribal policies and procedures.

* Performs all other duties as assigned
