Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries with accuracy and efficiency.
• Verify and update patient information, including insurance details and medical histories.
• Check patients in and out, manage appointment scheduling, and coordinate follow-up visits.
• Collect and process payments, co-pays, and handle insurance authorizations as needed.
• Maintain and update patient records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, faxing, and data entry.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and address any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in medical office administration is a plus.
• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is desirable.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
