    Position Summary
    The District Office Receptionist provides administrative and clerical support to district administrators and departments. This position helps ensure efficient daily operations by managing communications, maintaining records, scheduling meetings, and assisting staff, schools, and the public.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative support to district administrators and department staff.
    • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and assist visitors to the district office. Maintaining a welcoming and professional office environment.
    • Prepare, type, and distribute correspondence, reports, and official district documents.
    • Maintain confidential files, records, and databases.
    • Coordinate communication between district offices, schools, staff, and the public.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and office supplies.
    • Maintain accurate records and assist with data entry and filing.
    • Support district projects, programs, and administrative tasks as needed.
    • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive student, staff, and district information.
    • And other duties as assigned.

    Typical Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
    • Previous administrative or secretarial experience
    • Experience in a school district or educational setting preferred
    • Fingerprint Clearance Card
    • Valid Driver's License 

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 months
    SALARY: Classified Salary Schedule
    EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board's policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
