Receptionist
Location: The Gardens at West Shore – Camp Hill, PA

The Gardens at West Shore is seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our skilled nursing facility in Camp Hill, PA. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and staff, helping create a welcoming environment while supporting daily administrative and front desk operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a busy healthcare setting.

Shift Available

  • Full-Time

  • Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

The Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations, including answering phones, greeting visitors, directing inquiries, and assisting with administrative tasks. This role plays an important part in ensuring residents, families, and visitors have a positive and professional experience when interacting with the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner

  • Greet residents, visitors, and vendors and provide assistance or directions as needed

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area

  • Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and facility tours as needed

  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries

  • Provide general administrative support including filing, copying, scanning, and data entry

  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

  • Assist departments with clerical tasks and documentation as needed

  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other departments to support smooth daily operations

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Strong computer and basic office system skills required

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment

  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
