Duties

Serves as the manager for the Warrior Zone. Develops, manages, plans and administers recreation activities programs to support eligible personnel for Warrior Zone activities.,Such activities include, but not limited to, interactive gaming, food and beverage operation, movie theater, programming, and billiards and the BOSS Program.,Directs, develops and administers plans and procedures to meet the leisure needs of the Soldiers. Conducts periodic staff meetings and takes appropriate action for employee misconduct as well as recommending employees for awards.,As Warrior Zone manager, responsible for monitoring and maintaining electronic gaming equipment, big screen TVs, etc; coordinating inter and intra garrison competitions and tournaments.,Responsible for planning and executing of community special events that respond to the needs and interest of the military/civilian population. Markets programs through all available marketing sources.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Directly related work experience provided the applicant the ability, knowledge, skills, principles, methods and techniques to plan, organize, coordinate, supervise and evaluate a recreational program. Highly Preferred Criteria: Highly preferred candidates will be referred to management first. In addition to meeting the above minimum qualifications, highly preferred is defined as also meeting at least two of the three criteria listed below: Minimum of 2 years experience managing or directing an entertainment facility to include food and beverage operations. Minimum of 2 years experience with financial analysis, budget development and execution and food and labor cost management. Minimum of 2 years experience with marketing and executing programs and events.
