Job Description

At Serendipity Catering, our people are the most important resource. We’re looking for a skilled recruiter to join our team and help us find the right people for the right roles. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment and have knowledge of the screening, interviewing, and hiring processes. Someone familiar with ADP and who understands the hospitality industry is highly preferred. Additionally, this person must be able work independently and must be able to follow our internal hiring processes and policies.

Please note that this is an in-office position.

This is a part-time role, Monday through Friday. This person will work 25 hours per week (5 hours per day).

Objectives of this role:

· Work closely with the Director of HR and Compliance to understand the company's hiring needs for every role

· Create and post job descriptions and announcements with approval from the Director of HR and Compliance and the CEO

· Remain active with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find quality candidates

· Manage the full recruiting lifecycle in addition to conducting the new hire policy orientation

· Providing administrative support for the CEO, Director of HR and Compliance, and the Deputy Director as needed

Required skills and qualifications:

· Two plus years of experience in recruitment

· Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills

· Familiarity with job boards and computer systems designed specifically for HR (ADP experience is a plus)

· Must be able to learn and adapt to new programs and systems

· Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods (phone, video, email, in-person)

Preferred skills and qualifications

· Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or HR

Pay

  • $27 - $29 per hour - depending on experience
