About the Role:
As a Remote Biller Regional, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality billing and insurance claims processing, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills will enable you to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks, ensuring timely and efficient processing of claims. You will work closely with the billing team and other stakeholders to identify and resolve billing-related issues, while also staying up-to-date with changing regulations and industry trends.
Responsibilities:
• Process patient billing and insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient billing and insurance claims
• Identify and resolve billing-related issues, including discrepancies and denials
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
• Stay current with changing regulations and industry trends, making recommendations for process improvements
• Collaborate with the billing team to ensure seamless workflow and efficient claim processing
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing or a related field
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in medical billing software and systems
