Job Description
  1. The RBDM is responsible for driving the mortgage business (LAP, HL, Affordable HL, and Secured Business Loans) across a defined region through branches and direct channel. 
  2. This includes managing a team of Area Business Development Managers and Business Development Managers, ensuring achievement of business targets, maintaining portfolio quality, and ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Strategic & Managerial

  1. Drive regional business targets for LAP and HL products. 
  2. Lead and manage a team of ABDMs and BDMs across multiple clusters.
  3. Ensure timely hiring, training, and productivity of the team.
  4. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions.
  5. Ensure branch activation and engagement across the region.
  6. Monitor and improve portfolio quality and manage delinquencies.

Business Development

  1. Ensure consistent lead generation and file movement across mapped branches and direct channels.
  2. Drive cross-sell of insurance, liability, and third-party products.
  3. Strengthen relationships with key internal stakeholders (Branch Banking, Credit, Operations. Legal and Technical).

Compliance & Governance

  1. Ensure adherence to internal policies, audit norms, and regulatory guidelines.
  2. Monitor documentation, PDDs, and disbursement hygiene.
  3. Resolve escalations and customer grievances in a timely manner.

  1. LAP Term Loan, LAP LRD, LAP OD, LAP Dropline OD.
  2. Secured Business Loan.
  3. Home Loan.
  4. Affordable Home Loan.

Qualifications

Education: MBA (Any Specialization)

Experience: 10 - 15 years in mortgage lending with at least 2 years in a regional leadership role.
