General Description

The Industrial Sales Manager maintains an expert level of product knowledge & applications to resolve customer issues. As the Industrial Sales Representative, you will provide support throughout the organization between industrial sales staff, Director of Sales, outside parties, operations and headquarters. You will establish and implement sales strategies, engage relationship management with suppliers; establish pricing for our customers and be responsible for maintaining margins necessary for achieving profitability by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.


Essential Job Functions

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential duties:

  • Collaborate with existing managers & reps to support new & existing customers to increase customer business.
    • Generate & processes new sales leads as necessary.
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and set goals for Industrial Sales team.
    • Prepare periodic sales reports showing volume, potential sales as well as establish revenue plans.
    • Support and interface with customers in conjunction with Industrial Sales team or provide technical support.
    • Provide ongoing support, including lubrication education to sales team as well as customers.
    • Deliver sales presentations to key strategic customers while supporting Industrial sector across the region.
    • Work with Industrial Sales team in planning, forecasting and caring for customer needs.
    • Manage and implement changes to ensure continuous improvement.
    • Analyze and help control expenditure based on building solid sales plans using strategic planning tools.
    • Gather data from other departments to help ensure communication throughout sales organization.
    • Develop strategies to achieve organization goals to help strengthen the organization and adapt to changing markets.
