Location Requirement: Western U.S. Territory

Candidates must currently reside in and have experience leading sales teams within one or more of the following states:

Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming.

Preference will be given to candidates with established relationships and market knowledge across the Western U.S. region.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

Simpli.fi is seeking a results-oriented Regional Sales Manager, West Region to lead and develop a team of Local Sales Directors focused on driving new  advertising revenue across local agencies, regional advertisers, and SMB markets.

This is a frontline sales leadership role with direct responsibility for team performance, revenue attainment, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and rep development. Success in this position requires a leader who can coach sellers, drive accountability, remove obstacles, and consistently maximize revenue production across the team.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of digital advertising expertise, sales leadership experience, forecasting discipline, and a proven ability to improve team performance. 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Local Sales Directors throughout the Western U.S. territory
  • Drive team revenue performance through consistent coaching, accountability, and performance management
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, forecast reviews, pipeline inspections, and team development sessions
  • Help sellers identify opportunities, advance deals, overcome obstacles, and close new business
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and sales execution across the region
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, pipeline generation, and revenue attainment
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Ad Operations, Media, Finance, and Sales Leadership to support team success
  • Monitor key sales metrics, identify performance trends, and proactively address risks and gaps
  • Support onboarding and development of new sellers while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Communicate regional performance, opportunities, and risks to executive leadership
  • Drive adoption of Salesforce and sales processes to ensure visibility and operational excellence.

YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

    • Proven success leading quota-carrying sales teams in digital advertising, AdTech, MarTech, local media, or agency environments
    • Experience managing and developing teams of 6+ sellers
    • Strong background in both new business development and account growth strategies
    • Demonstrated success coaching underperforming reps and improving overall team performance
    • Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue planning experience
    • Deep understanding of digital advertising solutions and programmatic media
    • Advanced Salesforce proficiency and experience managing sales operations through CRM systems
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Customer Success, Ad Operations, Media, and Finance teams
    • Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills
    • Highly organized, accountable, adaptable, and coachable leadership style
    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding team performance goals
