Experience & Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and exams 
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials 
  • Take and process dental X-rays in accordance with state regulations 
  • Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care 
  • Maintain infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification per state requirements 
  • Previous dental assisting experience; pediatric experience preferred 
  • Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and safety protocols 
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 
  • Friendly, patient-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
