Your Role & Impact
As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist and dental hygienist in the direct provision of primary care dental services to patients of the health center. The RDA is also responsible for sterilization, preparation and inventory control of dental instruments and supplies
What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate from a California Board-approved RDA education program.
  • Current California Registered Dental Assistant License (Coronal Polish/X-ray/Sealants) - Pit & Fissure Sealants must be completed by first license renewal
  • Current BLS Certification from American Heart Association
  • Infection Control Certificate
  • California Dental Practice Act Certificate
  • Nitrous Oxide Sedation and Occupational Safety in Dentistry 
  • Familiarity with dental terminology, instruments, materials and medications used during dental procedures.
  • Knowledge of professional and ethical standards of health care delivery.
  • Availability to work outside of normal shifts (e.g., 8am to 5pm) and on Saturdays.
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook and Word, and with electronic health record data entry.
  •  Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required.

The pay range for this role is $27.83 to $38.96 on an hourly basis.
