Embark Behavioral Health in Greeley, CO is seeking a compassionate and skilled nurse to provide exceptional care to our clients!

 

At our short-term residential center, you'll be the compassionate first responder when a teen reports pain or sickness, assessing their needs and determining the best care plan. Your day will include checking vital signs, distributing medications, and keeping meticulous records. Whether accompanying a client to the clinic, communicating with parents, or coordinating lab draws, you'll be their advocate, creating a safe and healing environment.   • Assess and respond to clients' reports of pain or sickness
  • Determine the need for sick bed placement
  • Accompany clients to clinics and communicate with parents and the leadership team
  • Check vital signs, disperse medications, and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor and chart clients' mood, behavior, and affect
  • Correlate lab draws and administer TB tests
  • Count and track narcotics every shift
  • Communicate medical information to the Treatment Team, Psychiatrist, and other relevant parties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Education: Completion of a state-approved nursing program required (Associate Degree in Nursing [ADN] minimum; Bachelor of Science in Nursing [BSN] preferred) and eligibility for or possession of a current Colorado RN license.
  • Active RN license in the State of Colorado
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a Colorado State and Federal background check
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, clinical charting, and medication administration
  • Skilled in physical health assessments and standard nursing tools
  • Comfortable with word processing software and basic network navigation
  • Willingness to receive professional feedback and participate in ongoing training
  • CAQH profile and NPI number required for credentials
