Meaningful Life Behavioral Health currently offers Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) of Respite (RSP), Attendant Care (ATC), Day Treatment and Training – Adult (DTA), Transportation (TRA), Habilitation Hourly (HAH), Habilitation-Group Home (HAB) and Room and Board Group Home (RRB) to consumers who are eligible for services through the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DES/DDD). Meaningful Life is hiring a Registered Nurse for our sister company Complete Joy Integrated.
To start this position will be contract 1099 while the company finishes ramping up and stats to onboard patients. Once the company is fully functional this role will be full-time and will be open for remote out of PHX or in person in Kingman AZ.
Psychiatric Nurse Responsibilities:
- Gauging patients' psychiatric states.
- Collaborating on psychiatric intervention plans.
- Administering psychotropic and similar medications.
- Monitoring adherence to non-medicinal treatment regimens.
- Removing potentially harmful and triggering environmental features.
- Restraining, consoling, and sometimes medicating highly unsettled patients.
- Recording patients' health journeys and reporting on notable alterations.
- Conducting targeted psychoeducation, particularly within families.
Psychiatric Nurse Requirements:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing, where the latter is preferred.
- Pertinent state licensure.
- Receipt of BLS training.
- Familiarity with cultural perceptions about psychiatric difficulties.
- Well-honed triaging, diagnostic, and clinical judgment capacities.
- Superb interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Resilience, immense empathy, and resolution.
