Job scope:
The RN serves as a member
of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team and the Intensive Services
Treatment (IST) team, and is responsible for providing care and treatment to
individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental disabilities and those
who have not responded to or benefitted from traditional mental health clinic
services. Duties include, but are not
limited to, performing complex nursing tasks such as assessments, administering
prescribed medications, client education, and documenting including
computerized documentation of nursing activities in accordance with Community
Healthcore Procedures and Nursing Standards of Care.
Education/licensure:
Graduated from accredited
school of nursing and licensed to practice nursing in the state of Texas. Must maintain current CPR. Current valid driver's license in state of
residence.
Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications
essential to the performance of the job:
Ability and strength to sit, bend, and reach during an 8 -10 hour day. Able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds. Sensory acuity sufficient to evaluate, treat,
and monitor patient needs and maintain accurate records. Computer and fine motor skills sufficient to
legibly document and communicate.
Routing 8-10 hour shifts with weekends off.
Minimum Annual Salary: $55,000 doe
