About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in Queen City Dayton, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care across diverse healthcare settings. Job Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing wound care.

Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care to promote understanding and compliance.

Utilize telemetry monitoring to observe cardiac rhythms and promptly identify any abnormalities requiring intervention.

Serve as a patient advocate by ensuring patients’ rights and preferences are respected and communicated within the healthcare team.

Document all nursing care activities accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.

Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Demonstrated experience in direct patient care and telemetry monitoring.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

Advanced certifications such as Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) or Cardiac Telemetry certification.

Experience in patient education and advocacy roles.

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Previous work experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
