About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in Queen City Dayton, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care across diverse healthcare settings. Job Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing wound care.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care to promote understanding and compliance.
  • Utilize telemetry monitoring to observe cardiac rhythms and promptly identify any abnormalities requiring intervention.
  • Serve as a patient advocate by ensuring patients’ rights and preferences are respected and communicated within the healthcare team.
  • Document all nursing care activities accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in direct patient care and telemetry monitoring.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) or Cardiac Telemetry certification.
  • Experience in patient education and advocacy roles.
