Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Part-Time (19 hours or less)- Gage House - Bargaining Unit

  • Erie, PA
  • $32.63 - $35.08 per hour
  • Hourly; non-exempt position
  • Part-time (19 hours per week or less)
  • Thursdays and Fridays
    • 1st Shift (7AM - 5PM)

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for assessing client medical and mental status, providing client education, assisting the psychiatrist and therapists in providing medical and treatment services to identified clients, and providing a nursing perspective on treatment teams. The incumbent in this position will also be responsible for maintaining appropriate medication storage/security, including up-to-date MAR, as well as communication with other staff regarding clients' medical conditions and medication needs. Certification of nonmedical staff to be able to monitor clients taking their medication as prescribed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Current licensure as Registered Nurse by State of Pennsylvania; experience working with individuals with mental illness preferred.
  2. Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle during scheduled work hours
