Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides and oversees nursing care in accordance with physician orders, professional standards of practice, and state regulations. The RN serves as a leader on the unit by supporting nursing staff and ensuring exceptional resident care and clinical outcomes.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive Resident assessments
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report changes in condition
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
  • Supervise LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
  • Ensure accurate and compliant documentation
  • Promote a safe, positive, and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
  • Active, unrestricted RN license in North Carolina
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Long-term care experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
