How you’ll contribute
A Nurse Graduate (RN) who excels in this role:
This position is responsible for performing basic nursing care procedures under the direct supervision of the professional licensed nursing staff post graduation from nursing school
- Graduate Nurses may engage in the supervised practice of professional nursing for up to 120 calendar days.
- Performs patient care tasks (baths, make beds, feeding, weights and heights, vital signs, etc.) and thoroughly reporting changes or patient concerns to RN.
- Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
- Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should possess an Associate’s Degree from an accredited nursing school; BSN Preferred. Additional requirements include:
American Heart Assoc. or American Red cross BCLS required
American Heart Assoc. ACLS/PALS required within 6 months of employment.
Must take boards on first offering.
