Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Configuration, implementation, and training of Equipment Asset Management (EAM) throughout maintenance departments of the company.
  • Ongoing project management and monitoring of EAM analytics and software.
  • Work in coordination with site Maintenance planners to develop and execute reliability measures.
  • Partner with continuous improvement initiatives to provide relevant data.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis on equipment or system failures to prevent reoccurrence. 
  • Coordinating with Maintenance Planners, develop and refine predictive and preventive equipment maintenance schedules to optimize asset reliability. 
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) like Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) to improve equipment uptime.
  • Utilize reliability-centered maintenance and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to assess and mitigate potential hazards. 
  • Oversee the lifecycle of assets, from early-stage design review and testing to eventual commissioning and obsolescence. 
  • Partner with maintenance teams, operators, and IT to integrate reliability standards.
  • Provide engineering support to major capital projects.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree required. 
  • 3-5 yrs experience interpreting statistical data, performance metrics, and equipment health.

  • Familiarly with JD Edwards, EAM, strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with CATERPILLAR and other mining and milling equipment a plus.

  • Familiarity with condition-monitoring technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems

  • Previous experience in a Continuous improvement environment strongly preferred or related training/certification.

  • Ability to be self-directed, team-oriented and work with minimum supervision required. Ability to climb stairs/ladders and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
