Overview:



The Remittance Processing (RP) Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of incoming payments, reconciliation of financial transactions, and identification of discrepancies. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret financial data to support operational accuracy and efficiency.



Responsibilities:



 




  • Create daily posting reports based on deposits uploaded to server

  • Work with providers to create clean deposits and maintain their AR (non-RCM clients)

  • Review short pays, identify issues, and utilize tools provided to communicate with RCM and RP teams

  • Review posting reports and accurately apply data to GP servers

  • Record deposits and reconcile appropriately

  • Receive, review, and process incoming payments and remittances.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of payment information.

  • Perform data entry tasks to update payment records and financial databases.

  • Reconcile remittance information with internal systems to maintain accuracy.

  • Conduct quality checks on processed payments to identify and rectify errors.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payment information.

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding payment-related matters.

  • Provide support and assistance to customers with remittance-related questions.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and data security standards.

  • Stay informed about changes in payment processing regulations and best practices.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of payment processing activities.

  • Prepare reports on payment processing performance as required.

  • Utilize remittance processing software and tools effectively.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to address any system-related issues.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in remittance processing.
