THE TEAM
You will be part of the Food & Beverage team, working within the restaurant and reporting to the F&B Manager, with a dotted line to the Assistant Director of F&B. This team is dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation, and guest engagement.YOUR ROLE
As a Host / Hostess, you play a vital role in creating a welcoming and seamless guest experience. You are the first point of contact for guests and are responsible for setting the tone for their visit while managing the flow of the restaurant. You will support daily operations, maintain reservation systems, and ensure service standards are consistently upheld, stepping in to oversee operations when leadership is not present.HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
- Deliver a warm welcome to every guest, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth seating experience
- Manage reservations, guest flow, and seating arrangements to optimize the dining room experience
- Maintain a thorough understanding of menu offerings, restaurant operations, and hotel services
- Monitor restaurant standards, cleanliness, and table readiness, ensuring all areas meet brand expectations
- Respond to guest needs and feedback promptly, resolving concerns with professionalism and care
- Support the team in ensuring efficient service delivery and step in to oversee operations in the absence of management
COULD THIS BE YOU?
- You bring experience in a similar guest-facing role within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- You have a natural ability to create a warm, welcoming, and professional guest experience
- You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- You communicate clearly and confidently in English, with additional language skills considered an advantage
- You are comfortable using systems and technology, including point-of-sale and reservation platforms
- You work collaboratively with others, remain calm under pressure, and use sound judgment to resolve challenges
