Retirement Plan Consultant | Junior Associate




Summary…



July Business Services (JULY) is seeking an individual for Retirement Plan Consultant | Junior Associate. In this role, you will enjoy the unique challenge of putting your analytical thinking and client service skills to work alongside a team of retirement plan professionals. The ideal candidate for this position is a person that enjoys details, spreadsheets, and an interest in learning all things retirement plan administration for 401(k) plans including, compliance testing, trust accounting, eligibility and contribution calculations, Form 5500s with audits, and research related to compliance matters.

  • Providing support to internal teams on topics related to retirement plans

  • Preparing year-end compliance projects for small and mid-sized plans

  • Participating in the completion of complex projects and calculations such as missed deferral opportunities and plan audits

  • Assisting team members with research and consultation on plan administration projects

  • Interacting with internal Client Services on plan issues and liaising with seasoned subject matter experts

  • Partnering with external Plan Administrators to obtain answers on projects and help prioritize project completion

  • Collaborating with team members to improve departmental processes

  • Help meet individual, departmental, and company key performance indicators (KPIs)
