Job Description Summary 



We are looking for a Revenue Accountant to assist in all accounting operational functions, manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements, ensure compliance with GAAP and technical accounting standards and assess accounting and internal control systems. This is a critical for the company that is responsible for directing and managing the Company's financial reporting, control, and financial compliance activities. This role reports directly to the Controller of Shared Services.

What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities) 




  • Review and analyze contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

  • Prepare and reconcile monthly revenue reports and account balances, providing detailed analyses of variances.

  • Provide technical accounting guidance, research, and required documentation, including monitoring accounting standards and assess application to the financial reporting requirements, including revenue recognition policies

  • Assess, design, and implement financial reporting controls as well as testing procedures in accordance with SOX.

  • Oversee and coordinate periodic audit activities with external auditors and assist in the preparation of audit schedules, data, and information

  • Research, prepare and execute finance initiatives such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or company-wide improvements, as required

  • Work closely with management team and partners to facilitate continual improvement with company-wide operations.
