We are currently seeking aRegistered Medical AssistantorCertified Medical Assistant (CMA)to join ourSurgical Specialty Clinic Newtonlocation. In this role, youll be responsible for providing essential nursing services in a busy specialty practice while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with medical procedures

  • Triaging patients and handling patient calls

  • Scheduling procedures and coordinating referrals

  • Providing patient education

  • Assisting in multiple clinic areas as needed

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Registered/Certified Medical Assistant program

  • 12 years of clinic experience preferred

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow provider instructions

  • Ability to exhibit sound judgment and anticipate provider needs

Licensure, registration or certification:

  • Current Kansas RMA/CMA certification required

  • Current certification in CPR/Basic Life Support required
