Our Guest Environment Experts are skilled in a wide range of housekeeping functions with responsibility for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel. They are empowered to move about their space and do what needs to be done. Whether delivering guest requests, stocking carts, cleaning rooms and public spaces, or other similar responsibilities, the Housekeeper makes sure the spaces in the hotel help create a great guest experience.
Core Competencies
- Cleans and sanitizes guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, according to hotel standards.
- Changes bed linens and towels, ensuring fresh and clean supplies are always available.
- Stocks guest rooms with necessary amenities such as toiletries, coffee, and stationery.
- Responds to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously, providing exceptional guest service.
- Operates laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens and towels, maintaining efficient laundry operations.
- Inspects rooms for maintenance needs and reports any issues to the maintenance department.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace, including housekeeping carts and storage areas.
- Adheres to hygiene standards and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Manages time effectively to complete assigned tasks within the allotted timeframe.
- Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate cleaning schedules and address any concerns.

Requirements
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals and detergents.
