Job Description

Description

The Ryan White CQM Analyst, will provide clinical operations and quality management support to TWCCH Ryan White & ID Programs; HIV, STD, ID and Hepatitis services. The Ryan White CQM Analyst will also participate as a member of TWCCH RW Clinical Quality Management Committee. To ensure the delivery of a quality continuum of care through the development and routine maintenance of the quality management program, this position is also responsible for assisting with special projects as assigned by the Ryan White Program Director

 

SSENTIAL JOB DUTIES and FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure compliance with the HRSA RWHAP expectations for the clinical quality    management program
  • Create and update yearly a Clinical Quality Management Plan with a timeline, responsible parties, and evaluation of the CQM activities and program
  • Collect, analyze, validate, interpret and report data to monitor program performance, patient outcomes, service utilization and quality improvement activities
  • Monitor HRSA HIV/AIDS Bureau performance measures, National HIV/AIDS Strategy indicators, and organizational quality metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas requiring corrective action
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and data visualizations to support program monitoring, leadership decision making, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Conduct routine data validation and quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness and integrity of Ryan White program data
  • Conduct and lead quarterly QI meetings 
  • Ensure the completeness of all HIV program data to be used in reporting, analysis, planning, evaluation and clinical quality management
  • Collect and maintain data as it pertains to Clinical Quality Measures outlined and required by Ryan White grant parameters
  • Helps identify programmatic trends, develops recommendations to guide quality improvement, and supports implementation of related workflow changes
  • Assists in maintaining data collection systems for quality improvement projects or other measurable program objectives
  • Provide technical assistance and training related to the CAREware and MEDENT EHR and data systems
  • Serve as liaison for installation of electronic certificates for CAREware and MEDENT users
  • Provide status updates regarding timeliness, completeness and conformance of provider export files, provider technical assistance and work plan progress
  • Coordinate data reporting from CAREware to HRSA, the United Way and PA DOH, including data required to develop and submit monthly progress reports
  • Coordinate the annual Ryan White Services Report (RSR), including identifying missing/incomplete data and resolving discrepancies
  • Complete routine and non-routine reports as requested to support planning, reporting, and evaluation of HIV services
  • Plan, schedule and conduct trainings and meetings related to CAREware 
  • Process all required reports as outlined in Ryan White Part B & C contracts- Monthly, Quarterly and Annually
  • Conduct an annual Quality Management Program Assessment in coordination with the RW Program Director
  • Attend monthly HRSA monitoring calls with Project Officer to provide updates on program
  • Attend HRSA HIV/AIDS Bureau update
  • Attend yearly National Ryan White Conference
  • Organize and lead Patient Engagement Committee on an annual basis
  • Attend quarterly Regional Collaboration meeting

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Epidemiology, Nursing, Data Analytics or related field. Masters Degree preferred.
  • Experience analyzing healthcare, public health, or quality improvement data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, lookups, filtering, data validation and dashboard development.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for leadership and program monitoring.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends, monitor performance outcomes, and support quality improvement initiatives through data analysis.
  • Experience with MEDENT, CAREware or other EHR software a plus
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Must be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with many changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
