Description

The Sales & Operations Representative is responsible for developing new business opportunities, securing sales, managing customer relationships, and overseeing the operational execution of projects from initial sale through completion. This position functions as a self-managed business unit within the company, maintaining accountability for both revenue generation and the successful delivery of services sold.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, highly organized, and capable of managing the full lifecycle of customer engagements, including prospecting, estimating, sales, scheduling, project coordination, customer communication, and collection support.

Requirements

Sales & Business Development

- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Generate new business through networking, referrals, cold calling, marketing efforts, and industry contacts.
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and needs assessments.
- Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and service agreements.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms within company guidelines.
- Meet or exceed established sales and gross profit objectives.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts.
- Develop long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Operations & Project Management

- Manage all operational aspects of projects secured through personal sales efforts.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and other resources necessary to complete projects.
- Develop project schedules and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor job costs, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct project site visits and maintain communication with customers throughout project execution.
- Resolve customer concerns, operational issues, and service-related challenges.
- Ensure all work is performed according to company standards, customer expectations, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain CRM and customer records.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Participate in meetings, training, and professional development activities.

Summary

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, project management, operations, or a related field.
- Strong business development and customer relationship skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
