Job Description

Sales Assistant: Titan Air, located in Osseo, WI is a leading manufacturer of industrial heating & cooling equipment.

We currently have an opening in the Sales department for a Sales Assistant.

Primary Job Objective: Responsible for developing new and maintaining existing sales contacts; developing and delivering sales presentations; participating in development, modification and application of existing and new company products; and developing and maintaining communications with all levels of staff and customers in a cooperative and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sales quotations based on verbal and written specifications and drawings for HVAC representatives, OEM’s and finishing accounts.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding and working knowledge of industry trends, newly developing technologies, and government regulations that affect market targets and manufacturing practices.
  • Respond to direct questions from HVAC and OEM representatives regarding application issues.
  • Work with engineering/production to get accurate component and structural information for pricing of custom equipment.
  • Provide technical and non-technical support and services such as training seminars for HVAC and OEM representatives or other staff members regarding the promotion and maintenance of equipment.
  • Assist with new product sales and marketing strategies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and etiquette are required in order to deal with various customers, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills and strong telephone communication skills.
  • Experience in the HVAC industry with direct and indirect gas fired equipment; an understanding of air flow basics, psychometric charts, hydronic, and DX coil selection and basic knowledge of equipment design.
  • Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of AutoCad.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business and/or science field or equivalent experience.
