Job Description:

Retail associates are responsible for the front line interactions with our customers. At Born United, we emulate a customer focused experience, ensuring everyone feels welcome to shop with us. This position is paid on an hourly basis and will be discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, respectful, and enthusiastic manner
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to help customers find items that match their needs and interests
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
• Restock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed and labeled
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and processing shipments
• Support store promotions, seasonal displays, and special events
• Uphold company values and represent the brand with pride and professionalism
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and computer skills
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Interest in or appreciation for patriotic themes and products

Work Environment:

• Retail store setting with frequent customer interaction
• Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 25–40 lbs)
• Shifts will include evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts as needed
