We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer (gn) to join our Proemion team, bridging the gap between the needs of our industrial customers and the technical solutions. The position is available immediately on a full-time basis (40 hours per week) in a hybrid working model. Our preferred location is Dayton (HQ of Proemion U.S.) though we welcome candidates based anywhere across Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, or Indiana. We are also open to candidates located in Houston, Texas, where our TrendMiner office is based.

- Conduct product demos, presentations, and technical workshops for prospective clients
- Prepare and adapts proposals, RFP responses, and solution documentation
- Take part in discovery meetings to understand customer processes and pain points
- Support the design and validation of technical architectures and solution configurations
- Contribute technical input during bid processes, pricing, and contract negotiations
- Channel customer feedback and product enhancement requests to product management and engineering
- Support handovers to implementation and customer success teams following deal closure
- Serve as the primary commercial and technical point of contact for US-based customers; second-line support coverage is provided by the team in Europe
- You bring an opportunity mindset to every situation, focusing on possibilities rather than obstacles, and make customer responsiveness a priority in everything you do
- Proven background in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales, or a similar customer-facing capacity
- Familiarity with telematics technology or the off-highway OEM sector, enabling credible peer-level conversations with prospects
- Strong ability to identify customer needs and align them with the most suitable solution
- Comfortable presenting and explaining technical concepts to different audiences.
- Experience supporting sales opportunities from first customer discussions through deal closure.
