POSITION SUMMARY:
Sales Consultants are responsible for driving revenue by leveraging their expertise in food products, services, and customer needs to deliver tailored solutions. Their role involves identifying opportunities to close sales, expanding existing customer relationships, and acquiring new clients within an assigned territory. Sales Consultants will focus on business growth by maintaining strong customer relationships, managing accounts receivable for their assigned clients, and consistently achieving sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, they are expected to develop new opportunities for business expansion and ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages a geographical sales territory ensuring that independent and regional account business is developed, and budgeted sales and profit objectives are achieved on a monthly basis.
- Regularly calls on existing and potential customers.
- Develops and executes business plans.
- Effectively manages time and resources to attain results.
- Manages pricing and monitors credit term compliance.
- Capacity to convey ideas effectively and sell a variety of products
- Demonstrate products to prospects and customers
- Ability to problem solve quickly and creatively
- Goal-oriented and driven self-start who can work independently within a team environment
- Valid Drivers license with clean driving record
