As a Sales Representative in this program, you will work directly with an experienced Farmers Insurance Agency Owner and receive hands-on training in sales, prospecting, client relationship management, and agency operations. You’ll learn proven systems that help you grow a strong book of business while developing the skills needed to run your own agency.

This is a structured career development opportunity that allows you to increase your earning potential while preparing for future agency ownership.

Salary Range: $28,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Must be willing and able to obtain a Property & Casualty License within 6 weeks
  • Must be comfortable with sales, prospecting, and commission-based income
  • Must have a strong desire to pursue business ownership and long-term career growth
  • Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Must be able to pass a background check
Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new business through calls, networking, referrals, and community involvement
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients
  • Quote, present, and sell auto, home, life, and commercial insurance policies
  • Provide excellent customer service by reviewing coverage, answering questions, and handling policy changes
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and performance goals
  • Learn daily agency operations, including marketing, underwriting basics, and retention strategies
  • Work closely with a mentor agent to develop sales, leadership, and business management skills
  • Participate in training, coaching sessions, and professional development activities
  • Maintain compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements
