SALES REPRESENTATIVE
This roll interacts directly with the customer. This individual is responsible for sales development and program execution within a respective account base. This position is responsible for attaining monthly and annual territory sales targets. This person should be able to perform well in a team environment and have the ability to work on their own without direct daily supervision. The position reports to a Territory Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and track all Sales objectives for a given sales territory
- Participate in regular sales meetings to insure alignment
- Strategic planning for a sales territory
- Manage all planning, recaps and reporting
- Build and manage relationships with key accounts
- Create, manage and execute business development strategy
- Execute sales programs
- Manage a territory budget
- Manage activity calendar for territory
- Comply with all company policies
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years in the wine / spirits industry
- Strong wine knowledge and passion for the business
- Proficient computer / Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to communicate, present and influence customers
- Ability to educate customers
- Possess strong organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
PHYSICAL REQIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must have valid driver’s license
