Job Description

The Opportunity

This is a high‑impact leadership role for a Salesforce professional who wants true platform ownership. As our Salesforce Platform Manager, you’ll set the vision for how Salesforce supports the business, lead a talented team of architects, admins, and developers, and partner closely with executive, sales, and technology leaders to turn business strategy into scalable CRM solutions.

You won’t just manage Salesforce — you’ll shape how it drives revenue, efficiency, and decision‑making across the organization.

What You’ll Do

Platform Strategy & Ownership

  • Define and own the Salesforce product strategy and multi‑year roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and future growth.
  • Serve as the strategic voice of Salesforce across the organization, balancing innovation, scalability, and platform health.
  • Stay ahead of Salesforce releases and industry trends, bringing forward ideas that improve performance and user experience.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a cross‑functional Salesforce team including solution architects, administrators, and developers.
  • Foster a collaborative, high‑performing team culture focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Oversee Salesforce initiatives end‑to‑end — from intake and prioritization through delivery, adoption, and optimization.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Technology leaders to understand business needs and translate them into impactful Salesforce solutions.
  • Manage expectations, dependencies, and timelines across multiple stakeholders.

Platform Health, Data & Governance

  • Establish and enforce best practices for system governance, data integrity, security, and release management.
  • Ensure Salesforce remains reliable, scalable, and aligned with business processes as the organization grows.

Technical & Functional Leadership

Configuration & Automation

  • Design and oversee complex Salesforce configurations, including custom objects, fields, validation rules, and advanced automation using Flows.
  • Guide solution design decisions to ensure maintainability and long‑term value.

Reporting, Analytics & Integrations

  • Deliver meaningful dashboards and reports that drive insight, accountability, and adoption.
  • Oversee integrations with third‑party systems to ensure seamless data flow and extended platform capabilities.

User Adoption & Change Management

  • Drive Salesforce adoption through thoughtful change management, training, and ongoing user support.
  • Act as a trusted Salesforce subject‑matter expert, resolving issues, guiding enhancements, and continuously improving the user experience.
