Our Supply Chain and Logistics team mission is to provide top notch service to our stores and purchasing teams- contributing to the goal to make Grocery Outlet the first choice for bargain minded customers while touching lives for the better. Our team oversees the successful movement of products from our vendors to our stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated.
About the Role:
The Warehouse Sanitation Worker is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of our warehouse facility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to – sweeping, sorting and separation of garbage and recycling, restacking of palletized product and the use of cleaning materials. Required to drive a forklift and trash handling equipment such as an open-top trash receptacle. This role reports to the RFC Operations Manager.
Responsibilities Include:
- Keeps assigned areas clean, in an orderly condition, and performs cleaning duties and assigned.
- Operates forklift and trash handling equipment.
- Executes safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- General cleaning of the warehouse, receiving/loading docks, dock door interiors refrigerated and frozen, storage rooms, walls, lights, ceilings, roll-up doors, guards, and any areas as assigned.
- General cleaning of warehouse exterior buildings, walkways, stairs, dock, and dock door exteriors.
- Gathers, sorts and disposes of the trash properly for daily pick-up and recycling.
- Follows all company, food safety, and food security policies.
About The Pay:
- Base Salary Range: $20.00/ Hourly
- 401(k) Profit Sharing.

- Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.
About You:
- Janitorial experience preferred.
- Warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Team player and self-starter.
