Job Skills / Requirements

Join our team as a Sanitation Worker at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. In this important role, you’ll help maintain a clean and safe production environment by sanitizing equipment, tools, and facility areas while following food safety standards. Your attention to detail helps ensure the quality and safety of the products we produce every day. 

   

Job Schedule: (4) 10 hour shifts

 

Option 1:

Workdays - Thursday - Sunday

Off Days Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday

• 8AM-6:30PM

Option 2:

Workdays - Saturday -Tuesday 

Off Days - Wednesday/Thursday/Friday

• 8AM-6:30PM

  Pay Rate: Paid weekly, every Friday!  

• Starting at $16.25/Hr.

   Job Duties:  

• Clean and sanitize production equipment (mixers, conveyors, molds, packaging machines, etc.) according to daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation schedules.
• Disassemble and reassemble food processing equipment to ensure thorough cleaning and proper functioning.
• Use industrial cleaning chemicals and sanitizers safely and effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, drains, ceilings, and other surfaces in production and packaging areas.
• Handle and dispose of waste materials and recyclables properly.
• Safe handling and proper disposal of sanitation chemicals.
• Wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and follow all safety protocols.
• Working from heights/aerial lifts. (All training/certification will be provided)

Requirements:   

• Pass background check and drug screening 
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Familiarity with basic sanitation and food safety practices.
• Physically capable of standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and working in wet or humid environments for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong attention to detail.

Working Conditions:  

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and wet conditions.
• Must be able to work around sweet aromas and food ingredients (e.g., gelatin, corn syrup, food coloring).
• May require weekend, holiday, or night shifts depending on production schedule.

Candidates in the janitorial, cleaning, sanitation or general labor do very well in this position.
