Qualifications
Master's degree in school psychology required. Experience performing comprehensive evaluations of students with special needs. Preferably experienced in school settings, familiar with the director's expectations and department protocols regarding assessment procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive multidisciplinary evaluations for students in grades PK–12 to determine eligibility and educational needs.
- Interpret assessment results and participate in Case Conference Committee meetings to support eligibility and programming decisions.
- Utilize a variety of assessment tools, screeners, and progress-monitoring measures addressing academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs.
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop recommendations for interventions and Behavior Intervention Plans when appropriate.
- Provide consultation, training, and support to school personnel and families regarding behavioral, academic, and social-emotional interventions.
- Collaborate with Educational Consultants and school teams to develop effective supports and services for students.
- Maintain compliance with Article 7, IDEA, and all applicable federal and state regulations.
- Participate in professional development and maintain current knowledge of best practices, legislation, and trends in special education and school psychology.
- Attend required meetings and perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Exceptional Needs.
