We are hiring a full-time Security Guard to join our dynamic care team at Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center!
Weekly pay at $18 an hour. 7a-3p shift Mon-Fri.
You ensure the safety and security of the residents, employees, facility, facility grounds, and equipment.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or its equivalent.
Security experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct an inventory of personal belongings on all admissions and safely remove and store any contraband.
Conduct and document, as a minimum, hourly rounds of the entire facility and its grounds, and immediately report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
Report/document environmental concerns.
Be present and assist, if needed, if and when a resident may be struggling to manage emotions.
Ensure visitors sign in, show identification, and conduct an inventory search.
Conduct frequent checks with residents deemed as risk, including physically viewing residents’ whereabouts and documentation of where they are, what they are doing, and who, if anyone, they are with.
Assist staff with room searches.
May be assigned to a resident on a 1:1 basis for a determined period of time, including direct supervision at all times.
Specific Requirements:
Must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
