Job Summary

The Unarmed Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. This role involves monitoring premises, conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and enforcing company policies and procedures. 

Essential Duties

• Establishing and maintaining relationships with business and residential neighbors. 

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or, when necessary, by vehicle to ensure safety and security  

• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms  

• Control access to the facility by verifying identification and managing entry points  

• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms 

• Complete the site security checklist daily 

• Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and clients as needed  

• Enforce rules, regulations, and company policies  

• Document and report observed suspicious activities or security breaches  

• Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary 

• Maintain strict HIPAA compliance by safeguarding the facilities and taking appropriate steps to preserve a secure and respectful environment.
